Domaine Barmes Buecher, Pinot Noir Grand Cru Hengst 2024

£64.00

The Reputation of Barmes Buecher Pinot Noir is the reason we went to visit them in the first place. The Family do have a special connection with Pinot Noir and Burgundy. Mathilde, the Great-Grand-Mother was sent to Burgundy to learn French. She spent a few year as an au pair at the famed Volnay estaste Marquis d'Angerville. A life long friendship was made and a love for great Pinot ignited back in Alsace. When planting vineyards with Pinot Noir they choose a Burgundy massale and planted on the best soils in Wettolsheim Grand Cru Hengst!
