Since 2022, we’ve been bringing in wines worth discovering. With over 50 years of tasting and industry experience between us, these are the people we choose to stand behind and the wines we still find exciting.
All of our producers share the same philosophy: they practise regenerative viticulture, learn from the elements, and put local biodiversity at the heart of what they do.
Like Vins-Clairs, many are just starting out, releasing their first or second vintages. We hope you’ll follow along and enjoy the journey with us.

Claire and Nicolas first met in 2004. It was a memorable encounter as one of them fainted that day! Ask for the full story and they’ll be happy to tell you over a glass of wine.
The two started out as rivals - competing for UK Sommelier of the Year (which they both won, Claire in 2006 and Nicolas in 2007). From there, the friendly rivalry turned into a working relationship when Claire became Nicolas’ account manager. Then over two decades, they became close friends.
As two Master Sommeliers who have also worked in the merchant and import sides of the trade, their rare and complementary skillsets were destined to meet in a venture of their own. When the opportunity came, starting Vins-Clairs was an easy decision.
